**Description**
**JOB SUMMARY**
The Janitor will be responsible for overall building maintenance, including but not limited to; removing debris, keeping areas neat, vacuuming, buffing floors, empties trash receptacles, and replace lining of trash cans. To work well in this role, one should have basic maintenance knowledge around building repairs and some experience cleaning.
If working 2nd shift, you are entitled a 10% differential.
**REPORTING TO**
Production Manager
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
* Perform general clean up of all areas of the building as directed.
* Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
* Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
* Sweep and mop floors.
* Remove garbage and recycling daily.
* Handle emergency cleaning requests.
* Ensure all restrooms are cleaned and fully equipped.
* Perform other maintenance duties as requested.
**SKILLS and ABILITIES**
* Ability to work under minimal supervision.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Effective written and oral skills.
* Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and follow procedures.
**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE**
* High school diploma/GED.
* Minimum three years of experience in maintenance.
* Experience operating a variety of small hand tools.
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
* Bend kneel or crouch.
* Ascend or descend ladders.
* Lift up to 50 pounds with lifting equipment.
* Reach, push and pull.
* Stand for sustained periods of time.
