We are looking for a motivated individual to join the team as a Slots Guest Services Representative for Excalibur! THE JOB:

As a Slots Guest Services Representative, your role is to improve guests' experience at the slot machines by providing assistance with various questions related to the property and slot gaming. You are responsible for handling slot machine payouts, facilitating enrollment in the MGM Resorts International Rewards Program, and completing necessary regulatory and federal tax documents. Additionally, you must ensure proper age verification through government-issued IDs. All tasks must comply with gaming regulations and the property's departmental policies, practices, and procedures.

THE STARTING RATE: $16.00/hr plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Pays slot machine jackpots and completes the required paperwork neatly and accurately, IRS W2G/1042-S forms.
  • Enroll guests into the MGM Resorts International Rewards Program following established guidelines and by verifying government issued guest ID, age and using property enrollment devices.
  • Assists guests needs for ay property or slot related questions they may have.
  • Maintain an organized and clean slot area paying attention that slot machine chairs are pushed in, and slot guests are receiving personalized service.
  • Make minor repairs to slot machines by clearing EZ-Pay ticket/bill jams, Bill Acceptor, ticket printer tilits, replacing ticket paper.
  • Consistently smiles, makes eye contact, and greets each guest.
  • Continually circulates through an assigned section and responds to slot machine lights in a quick and timely manner.
  • Keeps well informed of the various types of slot machines on the casino floor to better assist guests in looking for a particular type of machine or denomination.
  • Recommends MGM shows, restaurants and attractions to guests and stays current on company and departmental news and events to answer guests' questions.
  • Maintains an awareness of any persons that may be gambling under the legal age of 21 and reports all underage persons to Supervisor and/or Security, as needed.
  • Complies with departmental and company policies and procedures including Title 31.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality.
  • Prior experience with cash handling.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Describes themselves as motivated, detail-oriented, and able to learn quickly.
  • Comfortable standing for most of the shift.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willing to work flexible hours and shifts, including on-call availability.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain gaming license for the state of Nevada.
