Colby Law Firm is hiring a full-time remote Attorney to provide support at all stages of plaintiff-side employment litigation.
About Colby Law Firm. Colby Law Firm represents California employees in wrongful termination cases against their former employers.
Remote Location. The job position is remote / work-from-home in Southern California. All equipment is provided for remote work and reimbursement is provided for internet.
Minimum Requirements. Minimum requirements are:
- Live in Southern California.
- Juris Doctorate degree and admitted and in good standing to practice law in California.
- At least two years of experience litigating California employment cases.

Job Duties. Providing support for all stages of plaintiff's-side employment litigation:
- Communicate with clients about case status.
- Research, analyze, investigate, and develop legal arguments.
- Draft, argue, and oppose motions.
- Draft discovery requests and responses.
- Prepare for, take, and defend depositions
- Prepare for and participate in trial and arbitration.
Compensation. $75,000 to $100,000 annual salary based on experience, plus discretionary bonus. Benefits include group health insurance, time off, and 401k plan options.
