We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic construction team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to be involved in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. This role is integral to maintaining our financial health and making sure we use our resources beneficially.

Responsibilities:
As a Bookkeeper, your day-to-day tasks will include:

1. Managing obligations to suppliers, customers, and third-party vendors.
2. Processing bank deposits, reconciling financial statements, and conducting bank-related duties.
3. Preparing, sending, and storing invoices.
4. Tracking the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
5. Presenting financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.
6. Conducting daily banking activities, producing various financial reports, and managing the company's financial transactions and cash flow.
7. Staying updated on the company's financial status by reviewing and analyzing financial data.
8. Managing front desk duties, including answering phone calls, scheduling meetings, and supporting visitors.
9. Assisting in streamlining the accounting functions and operations.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Bookkeeper role should possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related preferred
2. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a bookkeeping role in the construction industry.
3. Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
4. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
6. Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
7. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Exceptional data entry skills.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
10. Experience as a receptionist or office manager would be a plus.
