The ideal candidate will be kind, competent, patient, friendly and have excellent communication skills. Job Duties: Remind clients take prescribed medication Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctors appointments, walks etc.) Help clients with ROM exercises Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able) Do the clients shopping or accompany them when they shop Perform light housekeeping duties that clients cant complete on their own Be a pleasant and supportive companion Report any unusual occurrences Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
**Qualifications:**
Proven experience as a caregiver Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Respectful and compassionate Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong work ethic High school diploma or equivalent
