Description
Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment
Ensure the integrity of the food served
Complete assigned side work at the beginning and end of every shift
Comply with Company standard portions, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, recipes, policies and procedures
Responsible for notifying management of low product
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
Handle, store, label, and rotate all product properly
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior related work experience
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be able to read and follow recipes unsupervised
Must be able to effectively communicate with managers, kitchen, and dining room personnel
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs. and push up to 250 lbs., as needed
Work may be required in confined area
Ability to be flexible with hours
