Video Tape Recorder Support.
Repair and maintain all the various Broadcast Video Tape Recorders.
Experience with Deck types are Sony 3/4 , 1 , and 1/2 formats.
Experience with Panasonic D5 and DVC PRO decks.
Must be able to perform a rebuild of the mechanical transport systems, including head and drum replacement, and electrical alignment.
Perform preventive maintenance to the decks throughout the campus.
Troubleshooting to component level
Will be responsible for maintaining a parts inventory.
Should have a strong electronic and mechanical ability including the use of small tools.
Must be able to read schematics, maintenance procedures, operate an oscilloscope, and have computer skills.
Some heavy lifting is required

Video/Audio background a must
- Electronic Technician Certificate preferred.
- Familiarity with NTSC Test Equipment, patterns and charts.
- Must have excellent soldering skills.
- Understand wiring diagrams, block diagrams, and reading schematics. .
Interpersonal skills: such as communication skills, active listening and customer-care
Diagnosis skills of technical issues
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately
Service awareness of all organization s key IT services for which support is being provided
Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
