JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Maintain, trouble-shoot and repair facilities systems including A/C and air management, chillers, heat exchangers and humidification
* Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and associated devices including lasers, welders and chillers, hydraulic punches A/C, brakes and metal forming machines, and environmental refrigeration systems, etc.
* Safely operate hand, pneumatic, and electric tools
* Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning electronic or mechanical components using mechanical and electrical drawings, process flow maps, industry standards and written procedures
* Estimate and manage projects including time and materials
* Test, lock, and tag out equipment hazards following safe work practices and Test, lock, and tag out equipment hazards following safe work practices and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA70E) (training provided)
* Maintain accurate records in computer maintenance management software by documenting activities and results contributing to future evaluation and improvement opportunities
* Follow directions and work schedules according to the assigned Maintenance Coordinator or Supervisor and the work order processing system
* Any other task assigned by supervisor or management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School Diploma, Apprenticeship preferred
* 2+ years of experience servicing facilities infrastructure and manufacturing equipment
* Knowledge of basic, refrigeration, electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanics
* Ability to service, maintain and improve performance of facilities manufacturing equipment
* Ability to read, comprehend, and explain mechanical equipment design drawings, electrical ladder, and one-line drawings
* Basic computer and math skills
* Excellent communication skills and tact
* Ability to work with other facilities and production personnel as a team on projects and to adapt to changing instructions or conditions
* Good hand-eye coordination, ability to climb and work on 12ft ladders and work from heights up to 25ft on man lifts
