Overview
The City of Chesterfield is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer.
Responsibilities
The position provides police patrols, protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and ordinances and apprehension of criminal violators. This position will be assigned to the Patrol Division.
Skill Requirements
High school diploma or GED required, two years of college credit preferred. P.O.S.T certification preferred or must successfully complete the State mandated 600 hours of basic police academy training.
Compensation
This is a full-time, non-exempt, position with a starting salary of $63,000 with P.O.S.T. Certification.
