POSITION PROFILE:
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain the physical functionality and safety of the buildings at Pursell Farms. This would include performing a variety of tasks to keep our facilities in excellent condition in order to deliver outstanding guest service. Skills include drywall repair and painting, electric, repair of equipment, exterior maintenance and preventive care. Strives to model the Pursell Farms core values in the completion of their work.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and outdoor areas
Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting and drywall
Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs
Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
Perform all other duties as assigned
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent GED required.
At least one year of similar work experience in the maintenance and repair field preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to read and follow directions
Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members
Ability to determine the most effective and efficient resources and materials for a task
Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures when competing task
