This role involves welcoming passengers, assisting with inquiries, and offering support with check-in and boarding processes. Customer Service Agents must ensure compliance with airline policies, security regulations, and safety procedures, while also addressing passenger concerns and providing solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate with various airport departments to facilitate a seamless passenger experience, contribute to maintaining a positive airport environment, and uphold high standards of customer service excellence.WHAT IT S LIKE TO WORK AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTYou like working as a team, toward a common goalEnjoy working with internal and external customers worldwideGreet and assist passengers at the airport with check-in, boarding, and general inquiriesProvide accurate information on flight schedules, gate assignments, and airport servicesHandle passenger check-in and baggage processing efficiently and courteouslyAssist passengers with self-service kiosks and online check-in proceduresResolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely mannerOffer assistance to passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors and travelers with disabilitiesMake announcements and keep passengers informed about flight changes and boarding timesYou have a great attention to detailWilling to go that extra mileYou enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasksLike to build long term relationships with your customersPhysical activity may include:Stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to lift 70 pounds or moreBe able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by terminal environmentClose vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)QualificationsMinimum age of 18 years old1 year of customer service experienceComfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tabletsAbility to pass a drug screenEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
