**Overview**


**Responsibilities**


+ **Food Tray Delivery and Pickup:** Safely and efficiently deliver and pick up food trays to and from patient rooms, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in meal distribution.


+ **Tablet-Based Order Taking:** Utilize electronic tablets to take patient meal orders, ensuring clear communication and accurate recording of dietary preferences and restrictions.


+ **Cart Management:** Assist in the breakdown and organization of meal carts, ensuring they are adequately stocked and prepared for meal service.


+ **Beverage Service:** Pour and serve beverages, including juice, water, and other prescribed liquids, to patients in a hygienic and courteous manner.


+ **Stocking and Inventory Control:** Regularly check and restock food and beverage supplies in storage areas and kitchenettes, maintaining adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs.


+ **Tray Collection:** Collect used trays and dishes from patient rooms promptly, following infection control and sanitation guidelines.


+ **Dishwashing:** Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.


+ **Cleaning and Sanitization:** Assist in maintaining cleanliness throughout the department.
