The HR Business Analyst works with clients to translate HR business process needs into technical concepts utilizing a comprehensive understanding of HR principles and processes to develop and implement technology solutions. This position will identify appropriate solutions, system enhancement and business process improvement opportunities for HR Technology products and related functional HR processes.Key TasksResponsible for business-side coordination for HR Technology supported application features, process workflows, and correspondence, and recognizing impacts of any proposed changesExercises knowledge of HR best practices to inform process design and business requirement developmentGathers business requirements and use cases for product features, process improvement solutions, system enhancements, and project implementations for HR technology productsTranslates business needs into technical requirements and recommendations for systems developmentLeads HR technology project tasks, design and adaptation of HR business processes, change management planning, and communications planningDefines, models, and documents current and future state business processesProactively analyzes complex HR business solutions identifying process gaps, and recommending solutions to improve efficiency and business performance through automated systems or business process changesIn coordination with project teams, leads business teams through user acceptance testing activities to ensure that HR systems meet the outlined requirementsInvestigates new features of application and related technologies with IT counterpartsStays current on features and roadmaps for assigned HR Technology portfolio productsEnsures alignment with the business objectives through engaging in business strategy and planning discussionsQualifications3+ years of professional experience in a business analyst role, capturing requirements related to internal/external customers, user acceptance testing, and mapping current business process1 year of experience working in the human capital / human resources domainBachelor's DegreeAbility to obtain public trust clearanceUS Citizenship required by federal contractPreferencesExperience with HR technologies/modules (Core, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management etc.) in a leading platform (i.e., ServiceNow, PeopleSoft, and Workday)Knowledge of Human Resources best practices across functional areas of expertise (e.g., workforce planning)Experience consulting within the Public SectorWorking at ICFICF is a global advisory and technology services provider, but we re not your typical consultants. Translates business needs into technical requirements and recommendations for systems development

Leads HR technology project tasks, design and adaptation of HR business processes, change management planning, and communications planning

Defines, models, and documents current and future state business processes

Proactively analyzes complex HR business solutions identifying process gaps, and recommending solutions to improve efficiency and business performance through automated systems or business process changes

In coordination with project teams, leads business teams through user acceptance testing activities to ensure that HR systems meet the outlined requirements

Investigates new features of application and related technologies with IT counterparts

Stays current on features and roadmaps for assigned HR Technology portfolio products

Ensures alignment with the business objectives through engaging in business strategy and planning discussions

Qualifications3+ years of professional experience in a business analyst role, capturing requirements related to internal/external customers, user acceptance testing, and mapping current business process

1 year of experience working in the human capital / human resources domain

Bachelor's Degree

Ability to obtain public trust clearance

US Citizenship required by federal contract

PreferencesExperience with HR technologies/modules (Core, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management etc.) in a leading platform (i.e., ServiceNow, PeopleSoft, and Workday)

Knowledge of Human Resources best practices across functional areas of expertise (e.g., workforce planning)
