This is a full-time, FTE 1.0 position. Workdays are Monday through Friday - hours vary based on operational need. Some holidays maybe required.

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! Put your passion for food and culinary experience to use and join our remarkable culinary team. The Culinary Assistant supports the patient meals operation, the retail food service operation, and production area.
We are seeking a Culinary Assistant who:
- Prioritizes patient care above all other duties
- Accurately assembles and delivers patient meal trays to adult and pediatric patients who have medically prescribed diets
- Provides outstanding customer service by politely greeting and promptly serving customers
- Sanitizes dishes, cookware, equipment, and environment
Culinary Assistants are eligible for:
- External hires may be eligible for up to a $1,000 sign-on bonus
- Paid time off, including 15 days of vacation time for full-time employees
- Continuing education for both professional and personal growth
Education: Preferred - High school diploma or GED
Work Experience: Preferred - Food service and/or customer service experience
Licenses and Certifications: Preferred - ServSafe Certification

Eastpark Medical Center - UW Health's new state-of-the-art ambulatory facility will transform the patient experience and offer cutting-edge proton therapy. This 469,000-square-foot ambulatory facility will house many specialties, including women's complex care, adult cancer care, advanced imaging and laboratory services and innovative clinical trials. It will be located across from East Madison Hospital on Eastpark Blvd. and is slated to open in fall 2024.
