CNC Machine Shop Assistant - Finishing Technician
Location: Arvada

Your Role
The CNC Machine Shop Assistant - Finishing Technician will be responsible for assisting in all areas of the SAS FF facility. The ideal candidate selected is passionate, has an aptitude for learning, and has a good work ethic. This position will have the opportunity for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and machine aerospace and prototype parts
- Read and interpret aerospace drawings to determine part requirements
- Installation of hardware, such as helicoids, rivets, bushings, etc.
- Material prep using the band saw and/or CNC machine
- CNC operating
- Performing equipment maintenance
- Cleaning of shop
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks
Qualifications:
- Must be proficient with all standard deburring tools, sanders, grinders, etc.
- Must be proficient in using standard inspection equipment - calipers, micrometers, pin gages, height gages, etc.
- The ability to maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to 5S principles
- Must be detailed oriented
How You Will Be RewardedThe hourly rate for this role is $20.00 - $25.00. Compensation depends on work experience, education/training, and related skills.
