Job Details
Primary Responsibilities: - Attend all scheduled safety, department and company meetings as required. - Follow and enforce company safety policies and safe work practices at all times to ensure safety of self and others - Assist in repairs of buildings, grounds and servicing of equipment (production equipment, cranes, etc.) - Notify supervisor of materials and parts needed for maintenance and repairs of equipment or buildings. - Operate equipment as needed (overhead crane, forklift, manlift) - Assist in maintaining service and repair records. - Maintain a neat, clean and organized maintenance shop using standard housekeeping techniques. - Comply with company policies and OSHA guidelines which apply to the maintenance department such as, but not limited to: Lock out/ Tag out, Material Safety Data Sheets and Hazardous Material usages.
