Overview:

Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for CNC Machine Repair personnel to support equipment preventative maintenance program and repairs, including electrical, mechanical systems. This position is part of the Maintenance Department at the Kingston, NY manufacturing facility.

Salary range $24.57 - $30.81

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED

Preferred Education:

  • Associate degree in Auto Mechanics

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) year experience in equipment/vehicle maintenance position;
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;


Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoots and repairs electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems to the component level on all types of equipment. Utilizes control functions in maintaining and troubleshooting machines;
  • Develops, coordinates, monitors, and performs preventative maintenance programs in collaboration with operators and other machine repair persons;
  • Keeps all lighting and switches on all machines in good working order;
  • Keeps all safety devices in good working order and levels machines as required;
  • Maintains and replenishes spare parts and repair parts inventory system;
  • Performs other related duties as required including those in the Laborer classification.
