Material Handler - 3rd Shift - Benefits Start Day 1

Location: Rogers, AR, US

**Material Handler - 3rd Shift (Sun-Thrs; 11:00pm-7:30am)**

**Benefits Start Day 1 (Health Insurance, PTO Accrual, 401K Employer Match)** * Execute final packaging and distribution of products to the appropriate destination.

* Transfer material from work in process to finished goods using SAP.

* Follow instructions on delivery notes for shipment to Kennametal distribution centers and directly to customers.

* Pack orders for shipment.

* Work with planners to resolve problems.

* Receive returned tools and store in proper locations.

* Re-order supplies such as boxes, bags, packing tubes, etc.

* Receive product that arrives daily from stock transfers and outside vendors.

* Deliver received items to appropriate areas.

* Must have High School diploma or GED.

* Must have experience with SAP software.

* Ability to operate a tow motor and overhead crane required.

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide

* Must be able to use electronic spreadsheets

* Must be able to organize and file paperwork

* Ability to communicate verbally, in person and via telephone and fax machines

* Ability to read and understand routing and operating procedures.

* Familiarity with Kanban replenishment systems preferred.

* Be aware of and adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety practices for the facility and immediate area.

* Support the Lean Enterprise/25 Keys initiatives and continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction through improved quality, reduction in waste and improved productivity.

* Perform tasks in a quality manner to meet external and internal customer specifications and requirements.

* Perform in a flexible and cooperative manner toward team objectives and the goals of the company.

* Communicate effectively and respectfully with those you come in contact within all matters.

* Complete all necessary documentation, electronic data entries and communications accurately and timely.

* Maintain regular attendance and perform duties in a timely manner, arriving and departing for assignments and meetings as required.

* Be aware of all standard procedures and practices associated with the position and work to maintain compliance.
