Our Client is seeking motivated and reliable professionals to work as Youth Care Workers. The Youth Care Worker is responsible for providing supervision to children, and facilitates deliverable services while ensuring execution of program policies and procedures as well as staff and patient safety.
HOURS/COMPENSATION
* 2nd shifts 2p-10p M-F and 1st shift 6a-2p Weekends
*$16./hr
CLIENT'S SUMMARY OF DUTIES
* Provide patient supervision in a safe, therapeutic setting.
* Utilize and promote the appropriate treatment model with all patients. Conduct appropriate interventions and providesupport.
* Observe and document relevant patient information and behaviors. Ensuring communication lines between all departments (clinical, medical, culinary, administrative...etc)
* Ensure that patients adhere to the day-to-day program schedule while providing scheduled group services to patients.
* Conduct and document patient checks and counts.
* Conduct routine facility checks to ensure facility safety and security. Including patient and property searches
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* High School Diploma or its equivalent
* Current negative TB test
* Negative Drug Test Screening
* Must be at least 21 years of age
* Understanding of addiction, co-occurring models, and treatment modalities
* Understanding of patient development and family systems
* At least 6 months of experience as a Youth Care Worker or Direct Care Counselor
