Essential Functions: - Safely operate forklift and other machinery
- Band, wrap, tape product
- Maintain work area and be organized
- Identify and read tickets, SKUs, UPC labels and reports
- Great attention to detail and accuracy - be able to stand and work on your feet throughout shift as normal routine
- Be able to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, push, pull, move, and lift to 50lbs
- Work in an outside warehouse environment
- Follow all safety procedures
- Work in a team environment
- Other duties may be assigned
Environmental Job Requirements: - Due to forklifts and other heavy equipment traveling through the Warehouse, temporary cracks may appear in the floor, causing uneven walking surfaces.
- Warehouse environment can be dusty and noisy.
- Fluctuations of temperature are common (below freezing to 100+); some outdoor exposure during the workday.
- Wet floors may occur during rainy or snowy weather or at other times depending on what has transpired in the environment (i.e. cleaning of floors...)
Required credentials: - High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year warehouse distribution experience.
- Prior lumber experience desired.Engineered Lumber experience is preferred.
- Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred, but not required.
- Must have basic math and analytical skills
- Must be computer literate, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Team Lead/Shift supervisor experience is preferred.
- Self-starter, pro-active and able to take initiative.
