Promote Safety. Per OSHA and Vulcan standards, take an active role in prioritizing safety for yourself and others throughout the operation at all times. Perform General Physical Activities. Perform various tasks assisting with the operation of the plant, including using hand tools, cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials. Repair and Maintain Equipment. Assist co-workers in servicing, repairing, and adjusting various pieces of equipment throughout the plant. Inspect Equipment and Structures. Perform daily inspections and maintenance of plant equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations that maximize production and minimize interruptions. Operate Vehicles and Equipment. Operate heavy construction equipment or similar cleanup loaders to assist with the plant's operation. Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned. Skills You'll Need: Experience.
