Colibri Collective is looking for a dynamic, visionary Senior Graphic Designer who can elevate our award-winning team to new heights. GRAPHIC DESIGNER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES|


  • Design materials that are on-brand and aligned with the design direction provided by the Creative Director. This includes working within existing designs while also creating fresh and innovative designs.
  • Design across multiple channels such as marketing collateral, logos, digital ads, style guides, presentation decks, mailers, billboards, print ads, email templates, etc.
  • Customize artwork for multiple clients working within a template, following specs, and adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Save work in a structured, organized way following naming conventions.
  • Deliver work that meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Use effective time management and organizational skills to maintain effective workflow and meet deadlines for all projects.
  • Present work with clarity and confidence. Be able to fully explain creative choices made to arrive at submitted work, both verbally and in written form.
  • Understand file formatting: size, resolution, vector vs. raster, CMYK vs. RGB, spot color vs. process, bleed/trim/live area, the difference between file types, and what they are used for.
  • Demonstrate creative thinking and stay abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and techniques.
  • Select appropriate fonts, colors, and images to enhance the visual appeal of designs and effectively communicate the desired message.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, photographers, and other team members to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions.
  • Photo selection and basic photo editing as needed.
  • Work on branding guidelines for any of the branding projects.
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss creative direction, attend standing creative brief meetings, and internal client planning and brainstorming meetings.
  • Produce website assets for developers.
  • Make proactive design suggestions that support broader strategic/marketing initiatives.


QUALIFICATIONS|


  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in design, advertising, or a related field
  • A minimum of (5) years + professional-level experience is required; (3) years as a senior graphic designer.
  • Strong portfolio that includes multichannel, collateral, and integrated, campaign work including political design.
  • Demonstrate proficient expertise in Illustrator, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Blender software as required by the job role.
  • Recognize that meticulous attention to detail is essential for ensuring projects are delivered punctually, within budget, and in alignment with the designated strategy.
  • Demonstrate creative conceptualization skills.
  • Proven track record in leadership and experience in working in multiple political cycles.
  • Must exhibit strong graphic design abilities, an understanding of the fundamentals of design (typography, imagery, storytelling, conception), experience working in a digital-forward environment, and the ability to direct and effectively communicate said knowledge with creative and non-creative colleagues.
  • Must exhibit outstanding design judgment and working knowledge of the client's business challenges to achieve the highest possible standards for all materials requiring design across all mediums.
  • Experience in digital design and marketing with the understanding and ability to direct the design of interactive and immersive experiences.
  • Experience in basic website design and bilingual is a plus!


COMPENSATION| $66,500 to $69,500 based on experience + bonus based on performance

SCHEDULE|


Monday to Friday.


Must be able to work on-site at the Phoenix, Arizona location. Remote work is not available for this position.
