CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Computer Repair Lead.
Role and Responsibilities
* Provides work instructions to other employees with the group
* Monitors work output of the group against performance expectations
* Provides feedback to supervisor or manager on group performance and compliance to company policies and procedures
* Assists team members with tasks and training as needed
* Learns and uses new processes and procedures
* Conducts inventory of repair line tools daily to assess equipment functionality and supplies; places order as needed
* Conducts audits of processes and procedures and reports the findings to manager
* Communicates the status of parts and units being processed to manager
* Interacts with various internal groups as necessary to report status of units in repair process
* Ensures processes for units are followed
* Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
* May conduct diagnosis of problems according to customer complaint
* May perform other duties as assigned
Education, Training and Skills
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 1 year or more of experience leading others preferred
* Computer training diploma or 2-year degree in related field preferred
* Minimum 2 years of experience assembling/disassembling, repairing or troubleshooting computers or electronics
* Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware
* Experience using hand power tools required
* Proficient English abilities required
* Email and written messaging with basic Excel knowledge
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with general supervision
* Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
* Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
* Excellent time-management skills
Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions
* Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
* Lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
* Push/pull up to 10 lbs.
* Frequent sitting, bending, and twisting
* Occasional stooping or crouching
* Use of small hand tools
