Housekeeping Duties and Responsibilities:



The Housekeeping is responsible for the following:



Cleaning common areas of the facility and Resident rooms


Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas


Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times


Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds


Housekeeper must be able to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment


Must be able to work as a team member with other Housekeepers assigned to the facility


Solid work ethic with initiative for quality and customer service


Remain positive and caring, and act in the best interest of our patients


Report any observed area in poor repair to supervisor


Housekeeping Qualifications and Experience:


All Housekeepers must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details


Must be Reliable and Keep to a Schedule


May Need to Work a Varied Schedule, as requested


Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred)


Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
