Material Handler, 1st Shift


Job Details

  • MATERIAL HANDLER


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Compiling and maintaining records of quantity, type and value of materials and parts stored in the warehouse.
  • Pull parts for kits for the production floor
  • Perform 5S inspections and develop corrective actions when needed.
  • Movement of piece parts from the production area and preparing goods for shipment to other establishments.
  • Employees will also perform tasks such as computer data entry, filing and other general office clerical functions.
  • All work is performed in accordance with established safety procedures and job instructions.
  • Position requires extensive standing and walking as part of normal job duties.
  • Position requires ability to work in a normal production plant environment.


What we look for:

  • Microsoft office, preferred.
  • Completion of high school or equivalent education plus additional education is required.
  • Analytical problem solver with good communication skills.
  • Forklift experience, a plus.
  • Experience with all safe practices, procedures, and overall processes.
  • Experience with Sheet Metal. Hardware, Electronics, and shop tools a PLUS


Preferred:

  • Forklift Experience
