Job Details
Under general supervision of the Learning Center Director and site coordinator, the Learning Center Accounting Tutor is primarily responsible for providing quality tutoring in Accounting 1110/1120 and/or Accounting 2010/2020.
Tutoring hours will vary and will include evenings.
Students may ask questions about other Accounting classes or even classes in other Business disciplines. Tutor will assist these students as far as their expertise and time will permit.
This includes the accumulation and reporting of accurate information about students and time spent tutoring.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Tutor students in Accounting Principles and Techniques as qualified. Tutors are also expected to be able to help students with general SLCC information.
Accumulate and report accurate information on timesheets
Other duties as assigned

Must have received a B or higher in Accounting 1110/1120 and/or Accounting 2010/2020 or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred candidates will be Accountants, Accounting AAS students at SLCC, or Accounting students at another institution.
