General Summary and Purpose: The Delivery Driver is a core team member of the SciSafe team. The position is responsible for transporting customer product to and from Cranbury, NJ SciSafe Facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Packing product appropriately in correct temperature for transport
* Use navigation tools to arrive at the correct location and deliver product to the contact at the scheduled time
* Follow best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading/unloading a truck
* Communicate with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries
* Meet delivery deadlines
* Perform basic van maintenance
* Load & unload customer product
* Obtain client signatures, when required or follow other client-specific pickup/drop off procedures while onsite at customer locations

Job Requirements:
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
* Must be able to adapt to a varied work environment
* Punctual dependable and trustworthy
Education and Experience Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Minimum of 1 year of experience driving a box truck
