**Landfill Spotter Driver**

**The Company**

With 15 facilities located throughout Illinois and Wisconsin, LRS controls and processes over 2.5 million tons of waste material per year and recycles or diverts over 50% of that volume.
**Position Summary**
The Landfill Spotter / Driver is responsible for transporting various materials related to the waste, recycling and demolition industry, within the Landfill.
**Responsibilities**
* Check assigned truck & trailer for road worthiness on a daily basis, performing pre and post trips, reporting any defects, and maintaining proper fluid levels.
* Transport materials to various destinations, placing special focus on safety, traffic rules and regulations.
* Accurately filling out paperwork, including: Daily trip reports, vehicle condition reports and customer work order tickets.
* Communicates with employees about scheduling and work assignments as needed.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications/Knowledge/Critical Skills**
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Ability to read and understand a map/GPS
* Ability to perform physical requirements of the job
* Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling and climbing
* Ability to drive truck with a manual transmission
* Ability to work in all weather conditions
* Ability to haul 48 to 53 trailers
* Previous CDL truck driving experience preferred
* Waste industry experience, a plus
**Physical Demands/Environmental Factors**
* Works under moderate supervision
* Requires lifting up to 50-75 pounds, pushing, pulling and bending
* A valid CDL Class A drivers license is required
* Must be 21 years of age, or older
