The Fountain Group are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Chemist I for a prominent Pharmaceutical client of ours. This position is in North Chicago, IL. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Pay: 29.00-32.00/hr.
- Length of Assignment: 1 year with potential for extension.
- Looking for someone with analytical chemistry experience.
- Experience with ICP-MS or ICP-OES instrumentation is highly nice to have but not required. Would also consider candidates with HPLC, GC, FTIR, XRPD, or Mass Spec.
- Experience with GMP documentation is nice to have, but not required.
- Plan and perform routine analytical tasks competently and independently within a timely fashion and generate reliable results in consistent manner.
- Documentation of experimental activities and results in a GMP compliant fashion using an electronic data acquisition and management systems.
- Should be a quick learner, with interest in analytical chemistry, and experienced at working with lab scale analytical equipment and instrumentation.
- Mon-Fri Regular shift starting ~8 am, prefer flexible working hours, 10 20 % off shift (late nights, early mornings, or weekends). Occasional overtime.
