This exciting role offers a vital opportunity to ensure seamless plant operations and exceptional customer satisfaction through essential administrative support. As an Administrative Assistant, you will manage accounts payable, perform purchasing functions within the ERP system, and maintain vendor databases. You'll handle invoicing, follow up on past-due invoices, and generate monthly reports on outstanding balances. Effective vendor communication and issue resolution will be key, along with coordinating plant communications to ensure all correspondence is accurately directed.

Your organizational skills will shine as you perform various administrative duties, including answering phones, managing emails, sorting mail, drafting correspondence, and ordering office supplies. Keeping management informed of any business situations affecting plant operations is essential. This diverse role demands both autonomy and teamwork, embracing continuous improvement in an environment that values honest, ethical, and professional communication.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of basic accounting procedures as they pertain to AR/AP functions, purchasing and vouchering. Position is based onsite in Foley, AL, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM.
