Launch your career at LaClare Family Creamery! We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated Packaging Operator to support our 1st shift team in crafting the highest quality of cheeses.


Hours: 5:00am-3:00pm Monday through Thursday


FULL Time & FULL Benefits starting at $23.00/hour and monthly bonus opportunities!


Food production experience is preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided. Growth opportunities are available!


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Operates equipment in the soft cheese packaging process, successfully making a safe, quality product.
  • Work with Chevre Packaging Supervisor and production team to complete all tasks within the production areas
  • Performs product tests, records results, and makes necessary adjustments according to recipe specifications
  • Monitors, prepares, and changes equipment in the soft cheese packaging process
  • Remains aware of work environment sounds to detect abnormalities in equipment operation
  • Assists with all production runs and documents all steps in packaging procedure to ensure accurate, consistent, safe, and quality products every time
  • Sanitation: Keep a clean work environment. Wash, rinse, sanitize and return all equipment back to its designated area immediately after done using. Complete time of use, daily, weekly, biweekly, and monthly sanitation scheduled responsibilities along with documentation once work is complete.
  • Follows all policies and procedures LaClare Creamery has implemented regarding food and personal safety to assist in maintaining a safe work environment and safe, quality products at all times.

  • Lift - be able to lift 50+lbs continuously, stand for 8 hours/day and occasionally twist, bend, climb, grasp and other repetitive movements.
  • Flexible to various creamery environments including unloading, making, painting, packaging, aging, and shipping.

  • Annually complete all trainings within LaClare Creamery Training Matrix
  • Annually complete HACCP training
