** Banquet Captain**
Business Unit: The Quail Lodge Resort & Golf Club Location: Carmel, CA Working alongside the amazing team at The Quail Lodge & Golf Club, we are seeking a Banquet Captain to support our Banquet Department.

**Key Accountabilities**
* Leads banquet functions, including pre-shift meeting, communication with kitchen as the lead regarding timing and food presentation, lead staffing director, clean up and closing
* Provide staff assignments and follow up to ensure the assignments are complete
* Ensure that all preparation and closing duties are performed according to standards and published checklists
* Follow food and beverage safety standard in the handling of all products and equipment
**General Requirements**
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in an equivalent position preferred
* Must have flexible scheduling, including weekends, evening and holidays
* Ability to understand and execute Banquet Event Orders
* Food Handlers Certificate preferred
