LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking to fill a Staff Accountant role with a fast-growing global client, located east of Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking accounting professional with a minimum of three years relevant experience who has the ability to advance as the department expands. Staff Accountant Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cost accounting and related duties for the organization.
- Maintain accurate and current financial records, reconcile accounts, and record entries in the general ledger.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports (monthly/quarterly/annual), and variance analyses to facilitate decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Support internal and external audit processes as necessary.
- Reconcile bank accounts monthly, verify deposits, and respond to inquiries from financial institutions.
- Verify and process payment of invoices, ensuring accurate allocation to relevant accounts.
- Stay updated on accepted accounting practices and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in accounting or a related field required.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with ERP systems.
- CPA certification is a plus
