Title/Role: Production Manager
Compensation: Salary Range: $114,000-$137,000 yearly communsurate based on experience: plus benefits, including: 10% bonus eligible, financial relocation assitance is available and with full benefits (includiung health).
Location: Greater Kansas City, MO area

Position Description:Supervision of a team of over 100 employees. This is a fast paced environment in which your production and leadership experience/ skills will be a significant contributor to their continued growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all resources to ensure efficient production activities while maintaining all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) compliance requirements and meeting product and process quality specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement activities within the value stream to ensure process optimization, assurance of product quality and the reduction of scrap and process waste.
- Champion all operations and practices within standard daily work routines such as:
- Managing for Daily Improvement
- Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Hour by Hour
- Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Root Cause Problem Solving
- Rapid Improvement Events (RIE's)
- Just Do It (JDI's)
- Ensure that all non-conforming product has timely and applicable rectification actions
- Ensure all processes and procedures are always relevant and adhered to and product quality checks are carried out to the correct methodology & frequency
- Mentor & Coach direct reports to develop a 'can do' culture within the APU
Qualifications: Education & Certifications: - Bachelor's degree highly preferred and/or relevant supervisor skills in manufacuring with a minimum of five (5) years experience (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology).
