Job Title: D365 E-Commerce Technical Architect (Remote, Contract)
Company Overview: A leading Retail Apparel & Fashion company based in Kansas, dedicated to delivering high-quality apparel and fashion products to its customers. As they continue to expand their online presence and optimize direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing strategies, they are seeking a skilled D365 Commerce Technical Architect to join their team on a remote, contract basis.
Job Description: As a D365 Commerce Technical Architect, you will play a crucial role in the enhancement and optimization of our e-commerce platform to support our DTC marketing initiatives and web store functionalities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement solutions that drive a seamless and engaging online shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and design solutions within the Dynamics 365 Commerce (D365) platform to optimize DTC marketing strategies and web store functionalities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Develop and customize D365 Commerce modules, including product catalog management, pricing, promotions, and checkout processes.
- Implement integrations with third-party systems, such as payment gateways, marketing automation tools, and inventory management systems.
- Optimize website performance, scalability, and security through continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the implementation process.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
- Stay updated on the latest e-commerce trends, technologies, and industry best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Senior Developer in e-commerce projects, preferably within the fashion or retail industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce (formerly Dynamics 365 Retail) and related technologies.
- Extensive knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce, is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Location: This is a remote position, and candidates from anywhere in the United States are welcome to apply.
