This Materials Handler role is responsible for providing product unpacking and re-packing support.
Responsibilities may include a combination of the following, along with other duties as assigned:
- Frequently reaches above shoulder level to lift or otherwise move objects that weigh between 50-100 pounds (assisted) when unloading and sorting pallet products
- Pushes and pulls frequently
- Functions and operates comfortably in a very active fast-paced environment
- Follows verbal and written instructions
- Operates a forklift and/or pallet jack to pull product for production use
- Removes product from cartons safely and efficiently, following all safety standards, procedures and processes
- Regularly ensures that product reloading is properly handled to minimize damage to products
- Submits paperwork correctly
Requirements
Required Qualifications - High school diploma or GED
- Previous Warehouse work experience helpful
- Reach Truck, Cherry picker, Sit-down Forklift experience
- Willingness to learn and apply new skills
- Great attention to detail
- Diligent and punctual
Physical Requirements - Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs with assistance as needed
- Able to work in a typical warehouse environment with varying temperatures throughout the year
Salary Description
$18 - $19.50/hr.
