Position: Communication and Instrumentation Mechanic
Salary: $55.21 per hour

The Bureau of Reclamation s Eastern Colorado Area Office has one vacancy for a Communication and Instrumentation (C&I) Mechanic at the Green Mountain Powerplant near Silverthorne, CO.
The primary responsibilities are: Ability to do the work of a journey-level C&I Mechanic without more than normal supervision. Knowledge of electronic-electrical theory in a hydroelectric powerplant with a generating capacity of 100 MW. Ability to maintain, install, test, repair, and troubleshoot electronic-electrical equipment, e.g., protective relays, SCADA, and fiber optics. Ability to read and interpret electronic-electrical diagrams, schematics, blueprints, drawings, and manufacturer s instructions. Knowledge of the National Electric Code Standards, safe clearance procedures, and safety standards.
