Job Description

SUMMARY
Mail Processor's open incoming mail while seated at a small extraction machine. They utilize job aids and CDS Global procedures to process mail for magazine publishers, product providers and non-profit clients, ensuring both quantity and quality standards are met. The mail contains correspondence from consumers and donors globally.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Remove contents from machine opened envelopes and sort according to specific criteria.
  • Bundles contents, marks appropriately, and places bundles in specific tray.
  • Completes daily production sheets.
  • When receiving cash, follows departmental cash handling policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILIITES
  • Maintains confidentiality of CDS Global and its clients' proprietary information.
  • Interact in a cooperative and professional manner, with all levels of employees, clients and/or vendors, in a team environment.
  • Organize tasks and resources to complete work and meet deadlines according to established departmental procedures.
  • Acquire and adopt new information in a changing environment.
  • Adheres to CDS Global guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as required.
REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be at least 17 years of age.
  • Ability to interpret, examine, and process mail.
  • Basic reading skills.
  • Intermediate communication skills.
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical problems.
  • Intermediate organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make independent decisions using learned knowledge.

WORK SCHEDULE
  • Monday - Friday 6:30am-2:30 pm
    or
  • Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pm
SALARY
  • ** Signing Bonus $250 **
  • Base wage = $14.50/hour
SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL PREMIUMS
  • 2nd Shift = 10% of base wage for each paid hour if 50% or more of scheduled hours occur between 4pm-12am on a regular and reoccurring basis.
  • Weekend Shift = $3.75/ hour worked between 3am Saturday to 11pm Sunday.
Position Type
  • Full Time and Part Time positions available.
