Position Overview:
Delivery Representative personnelare primarily responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of packagedgoods to designated large and small format customers. In addition, DeliveryRepresentative personnel will be expected to assist in the merchandising,rotation, and proper storage of delivered products.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid Class A CDL or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of employment (we will train).
- High School diploma.
- Previous sales, customer service, and/ordelivery experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimalsupervision.
- Good oral and written communication skills withthe ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
- Strong organizational, time management anddecision-making skills with the ability to work within a highly distractingenvironment.
- Ability to perform physical functions which willinclude the lifting and moving of 50 lbs. or more and pulling/pushing productloads weighing from 250 lbs. to 1,000 lbs.
- Physical mobility to make frequent trips in andout of vehicle, to and from customer accounts, repetitive motion of ones neck,wrist, fingers, and/or arms. As well as prolonged sitting, twisting, kneeling,and bending.
- Possess intermediate math and personal computingskills with the ability to operate hand-held computing devices.
- Ability to accurately count money, inventorykeys, produce and account for critical invoices as well as other relateddocuments.
- Basic knowledge of State and Federal D.O.T.vehicle requirements, rules, and regulations.
- Ability to operate 2-wheel handcarts as well aspowered industrial equipment including a fork-truck in a safe manner andmaintain annual fork-truck certification.
