Associate Attorney


Job Details

Musick Peeler is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join the firm's Litigation Department in our Orange County office (with an emphasis on General Litigation). Experience with Labor & Employment would be a plus. Candidate must have 3 -5 years of litigation practice experience and an active California Bar license. There is some flexibility regarding a hybrid schedule.


The candidate must be a driven team player with excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills, possess a strong academic background, and exceptional research skills. The candidate must be detail-oriented and highly organized with a solid work ethic. The candidate must have the ability to work with minimal direction, propound and respond to discovery, law and motion, and take and defend depositions.


The position affords the associate an opportunity to work with the firm s talented litigation partners. For the right person, it will provide the associate with a significant amount of responsibility and opportunities to argue motions, conduct depositions, participate in trials, and other important tasks.


The firm offers competitive compensation and a full benefits package including eligibility for a year-end discretionary bonus. The yearly salary range is between $165,000 $210,000 depending on experience. The firm expects associates to bill 1900 billable hours annually.
