The Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute (SSIHI) is a part of UCI Health and the Susan & Henry College of Health Sciences. The Samueli Institute is working to transform healthcare through the practice of integrative health by conducting rigorous research, promoting evidence-informed treatment modalities, educating the public, providing individualized, patient-centered clinical care, and providing services to the community that focus on obtaining optimal health.
Responsibilities:
Under supervision of Executive Chef and/or culinary team, the culinary specialist will assist with the preparation and serving of food, purchasing of food, proper food handling, proper knife and equipment handling, proper sanitation, set-up of line in orderly fashion, customer service and cleaning of equipment including pots and pans.Knowledge of safe food handling guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Skill to communicate clearly to a variety of people.
- Bilingual in the Spanish language.
- Speak, write, and understand the English language.
- Knowledge of food preparation.
- Operating equipment correctly, stocking ability.
- Cleaning and sanitizing.
Special Conditions:
- Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and special events.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $19.47- $25.17 (Hourly).
