These positions are located at the Alexandria campus. Salary is per credit hour and based on education and experience.

Teach college level Paralegal Studies courses at the Alexandria Campus of Northern Virginia Community College. Courses are offered in traditional, hybrid, and distance learning environments. Create and distribute course syllabus based upon the current college-wide course content summary and ABA requirements, keep accurate attendance records, use required text books and resources when necessary, use LMS for course delivery and grade roster, post final grades within 48 hours of final exams, participate in SLO assessment when necessary, and adhere to NOVA college policies and ABA Guidelines. Share responsibility for administrative tasks connected with maintenance of the programs ABA approved status and attend required faculty meetings.

Minimum Qualifications Associates degree plus two or more years of directly related experience and a minimum of two years of full-time related occupational experience. Have experience working with or as a paralegal.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in Legal Studies

College teaching experience
