About the role

This Senior Director would serve as a leader of leaders within the Premier Agent Sales organization that will be responsible for driving revenue by executing Premier Agent s strategy. Specifically, this leader is accountable for adding incremental Premier Agents to our network, retaining them, and growing revenue over time. This leader will align Premier Agent s products, services, and resources in a way that meets near-term revenue goals while enabling Zillow s long-term strategic roadmap.

They will be responsible for building customer engagement strategies, revenue plans, resourcing forecasts, and working cross-functionally to strengthen product/market alignment. This individual will collaborate closely with the PA Leadership and key stakeholders to execute strategic plans and initiatives to drive sales growth and achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

This position will report directly to the Vice President, Premier Agent, and will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop and implement a robust strategic roadmap for the Premier Agent sales organization, focusing on talent development, process optimization, and technology advancements to drive revenue growth.

  • Create comprehensive operating plans to maximize Premier Agent revenue, while also enhancing organizational resources and capabilities to support Zillow's long-term strategy.

  • Define the vision and strategic direction for Premier Agent s Acquisition and Growth & Retention functions,, translating them into actionable plans for sales leaders to execute effectively.

  • Demonstrate adept leadership in managing a national team within a distributed workforce setup, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and driving performance excellence.

  • Work cross-functionally to allocate and prioritize resources, encompassing financial investments, headcount, and technological enhancements, to optimize operational efficiency and revenue generation.

  • Provide strategic direction for shaping the future sales organization through talent development, process enhancements, and adoption of new technologies to drive sustainable growth and performance.

  • Deliver regular progress updates, comprehensive reports, and strategic presentations to senior leadership, emphasizing accomplishments, challenges, and actionable recommendations for ongoing enhancement and success.

This role has been categorized as a Field position. Field employees perform the majority of their work in a specified geographic location set by their management team. Employees are expected to live within a reasonable commuting distance to their region and/or service area. ZG has not defined a reasonable distance and expects employees will use judgment in determining this for themselves and understand the implications regarding time commitment and cost of daily commute.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $181,000.00 - $289,100.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role are eligible for incentive compensation and equity awards. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 12+ years of experience in a leadership role, overseeing sales teams and sales professionals. Additionally, 3+ years in a leader of leader capacity across a range of sales, operations, marketing, and product disciplines.

  • You have significant experience leading multiple sales organizations of 50+ representatives and leaders.

  • Proven experience in sales leadership, strategic planning, operations and project management within a fast-paced sales environment.

  • Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and ability to translate insights into actionable plans and initiatives.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with senior executives, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated track record of driving impactful projects, leading change initiatives, and delivering results in complex business environments.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field; advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
