  • This position is responsible for responding to emergency scenes (fire fighting, confined space rescue, and EMS), operation and inspection of fire apparatus and equipment, and security duties
  • This position will require working rotating shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays.
  • The position also requires working overtime as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certified Emergency Medical Technician training with current license.
  • Current certification in either Firefighter I or Volunteer 160, and 40 hours certified hazardous material emergency response.
  • Rate of pay is dependent on level of experience and certification(s).
Preferred Skills:
  • Paramedic-Advanced EMT
  • High angle rope rescue experience
  • Hazardous Material Technician
  • 2-year Associates Degree in Fire Science or a degree or preparatory studies toward Public Safety, Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement.
  • Knowledge of heavy industry
