QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or G.E.D. Successful experience in financial or billing records preferred.
REPORTS TO:Human Resource Director
JOB GOAL:Perform routine clerical duties in the maintenance of assigned records at a District office.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and terms of employment according to approved
salary schedules.
EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated in accordance with
provisions of the district evaluation plan.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer telephone; check in guests and assist in notifying employee of guest; take and relay messages or transfer calls to appropriate personnel; provide routine information.
- Learn and apply District procedures and policies.
- Assemble, match, sort, tabulate, check and input a variety of data.
- Operate standard office equipment including a computer and copy machine.
- Assemble statistical data for various reports from clearly indicated sources.
- Maintain various records, reports, documents and files as directed; distribute reports as assigned.
- Performs a variety of clerical work as assigned including preparing bulk and certified mail.
- Maintains personnel directory
- Contacts police, security, fire and medical personnel or procedures required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
