Our client in Wheeling, WV is looking to hire multiple manual machinists to add to their manufacturing team.
Job Description:
- Set up and operate manual lathes to machine parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances, taking into account material properties
- Perform routine maintenance on manual lathes, including lubrication and tool changes.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to ensure optimal performance
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of experience operating a manual lathe machine
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Must have knowledge and basic understanding of machining principles and materials
