Compensation: 90K - 120K, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:- Operations Management: Oversee daily maritime operations, including vessel scheduling, cargo handling, and port operations.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with shipping lines, port authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Customer Service: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Cost Management: Develop and implement strategies to minimize operational costs while maintaining high service standards.
- Compliance: Ensure all maritime operations comply with international, federal, and local regulations and standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of maritime operations staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve operational issues, implementing preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
Knowledge and Skills to be successful:- Minimum of 5 years of experience with imports, FCL, LCL, and air freight
- 2 years' experience as a Assistant Manager
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams
- Strong knowledge of maritime logistics, including vessel operations, cargo handling, and port management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with international shipping regulations and compliance standards
