RESPONSIBILITIES

What you'll be able to do:
  • Function as a Supply Chain Business Systems Technical Lead in the creation and implementation of Supply Chain IT solutions to meet business and infrastructure needs (based on functional/nonfunctional requirements).
  • Analyze system architecture and identify gaps and integration optimization opportunities.
  • Validate researched data to bring leading indicators into focus, allowing the team to actively analyze, synthesize, and determine valuable product and service options.
  • Iteratively hypothesize and discover new opportunities for the customer's needs and desires, aligning with business objectives and technical standards.
  • Drive requirements gathering and convert business requirements into technical and system requirements and sequence the activities per priorities, dependencies, and feasibility
  • Drive system integration and data point discussions from solution definition to deployment.
  • Collaborate with vendors to design, develop, document, and maintain software and hardware prototypes and two-way data integrations.
  • Provide solutions to optimize performance, scalability, security protocols, and analytics integration.
  • Interact with external and internal technical peers (Product Managers, Product Designers, Software Engineers, Architects, and vendors) to deliver a shared understanding of the solution.
  • Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Participate in triage and debugging sessions for systems/tools integration issues.
  • Plan and conduct business process mapping workshops and idea-generating sessions facilitate the prioritization of relevant ideas and define the minimum viable product requirements.
  • Contribute to maintaining a ready-made backlog and enable the team to go further with effective usage of Rally and Jira

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

The minimum requirements we seek:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of leading the technical delivery of enterprise-scale solutions.
  • Minimum 5 years of gathering and analyzing requirements and designing software prototypes to support product development.
  • 3+ years of producing research assets (journey maps, affinity walls, empathy maps, storyboards, personas, etc.) to capture learning and communicate the immersive customer experience with the team and other stakeholders.

Our preferred qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Supply chain management or a related field
  • Strong domain knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing, and automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in actioning the voice of customers to develop efficient solutions.
  • Experience with supply chain planning, inventory optimization, demand forecasting, and/or supply planning, as well as material requirement planning (MRP) software products, will be considered a plus.
  • Working knowledge of ERPs will be an asset.
  • Product research experience to learn from industry trends and use that to create awareness and deliver the required capabilities
  • High degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work autonomously.
  • Engages in and provides a design perspective for cross-product integrated experiences.
  • Ensures a cohesive design within product groups and platforms by adhering to the Ford Design System, running usability tests, creating open feedback forums, etc.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills in working with cross-functional global teams.
  • Expertise in modern software engineering practices, including Agile development, DevOps, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD)
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • UI Configuration, Reporting and Analytics, API testing and development
