As a Food Pantry Assistant, you will work in an office based setting located in Mt. Holly, Burling County NJ.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00pm
**Responsibilities:**
* Primary/Front line individual for the Oaks Mt. Holly Food Pantry including storage and distribution of food;
* Ensure that physical placement meet Oaks safety standards.
* Maintain food pantry database;
* Communicate with Oaks consumers and staff by providing quality customer service;
* Provide support and work with food pantry volunteers;
* Meet and greet donors dropping off donations;
* Process in-kind donations (food, clothing, household items, etc.) including washing and cleaning of items;
* Maintain the Free Store;
* Support as needed at the Berlin and future pantries;
* Opening and closing of the food pantry;
* Support the coordinator on pantry inventory

**Qualifications:**
* High school diploma required plus1-2 years community relations or administrative experience;
* Experience with hunger-relief, anti-poverty or mental health program a plus; Experience with donors and/or volunteers a plus;
* Ability to work collaboratively; Superior customer service skills;
* Valid drivers license required;
* Ability to lift 25+ pounds
