Manufacturing Process Technician- Manchester, NH
Weekend Shift FRI/SAT/SUN 3:00pm to 3:00am
Will work on 1st or 2nd shift for several weeks
Contract to hire

Summary
The Process Technician provides process support to production by assisting with the creation, documentation, and implementation of programs and processes used to assemble, test and inspect printed circuit board assemblies and/or electromechanical assemblies.

Daily Activities will include:
Ensure day-to-day equipment activities are accomplished in a timely and accurate manner to support production
Develop and implement methodologies to best utilize the available data collection tools for each piece of PCBA equipment including but not limited to AOI, SPI, X-Ray inspection, and ICT
Develop means to gather and analyze performance data from production equipment; present the results of those analyses to the production support personnel group; and assist in developing corrective actions when necessary
Assist with continuous improvement activities Assist in planning for and transition of new products into production in a timely and cost-effective manner
Gather data to support engineers in process validations, equipment qualifications and quality analysis
May perform direct labor where properly trained and charge time to meet utilization targets and customer delivery requirements
Ensure personnel utilize equipment and material that comply for calibration, maintenance and material expiration dates
Assist coordination of process activities within the assigned area to ensure the output meets published workmanship standards and employees are working in accordance with documented instructions
Provide feedback to employees on quality-related issues.
Support engineers' and supervisors' efforts to ensure targets for efficiency, quality and utilization are achieved
Help create a work environment that stimulates team work, innovation and employee involvement
Recommend skills training
May assist in training personnel and provide guidance in following procedures, using equipment and troubleshooting difficult problems
Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members

Required Qualifications:
Intermediate level in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print
Ability to read measurement and calibration tools and instruments
Strong technical writing and documentation skills
Ability to problem solve issues involving multiple variables and limited standardization
Strong planning and organizational skills including prioritization and resource allocation
Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and assignments to meet established goals and deadlines
Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment
Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
Ability to communicate effectively in all forms with all people inside and outside the organization
Ability to be creative and innovative with approaches to solutions and solving complex problems
Ability to initiate projects and tasks as required to fulfill goals and deadlines
Abilities listed in General Requirements of Team Members

Required Experience & Education
Minimum 2 years of progressive relevant job experience
High School Diploma or GED; prefer associates degree in related technical field
